Performance in Box Theatre in Seoul belongs to a series entitled Body Printing. The title Passing refers to the theme of 5 PAN Asia (performance Art Network Asia) and a place, which I chose for my action: the backstage of Box Theatre. First I asked the audience to sign their name on pieces of paper, which had my name written on earlier. The main part of the action took place behind a curtain. Viewers entered that space individually. After making an imprint of my body, they moved behind the stage to the other exit. There, every person was photographed with a print they made. Actions in the series of Body Printing pose a question about the nature of performance art. Is it possible to be simultaneously visible for the audience and hidden from them? To what extent am I the author of the audience's actions? To what extent am I the object of their actions? What meaning is brought upon such actions by my gender?
